Legislator Losquadro Joins Community Members in Support of Vassilaros Property
Mount Sinai, NY- Suffolk County Legislator and Minority Leader Daniel P. Losquadro (R- Shoreham) held a press conference Tuesday at the site of the Vassilaros Property in Miller Place. Joining Legislator Losquadro was Brookhaven Town Councilwoman Jane Bonner, members of local civics, and local homeowners.
The Vassilaros property in Miller Place is one of the last large pristine woodlands on the north shore. This month the owners of the property finally agreed to the offering price from Suffolk County.
“Land preservation is something that has been at the forefront of my tenure in public office. After years of hard work, I am proud to stand here and announce an accepted offer on the Vassilaros Property,” said Legislator Losquadro.
